Places to take the kids…

There are only so many times that you can take your little darlings to the local park until they start to get bored and disinterested in the idea. Although many would class Bedford as a small quiet town, you will be surprised to know just how many secrets Bedford holds that your children can enjoy for hours on end. We have decided to pick our favourite three spots that the whole family can visit this summer…

Indoor Surfing – Twinwoods

In case you hadn’t noticed, for those of us who live in Bedford, we’re not that close to the seaside. However, with modern technology, surfing can now be achieved and at a very affordable price! With the FlowRider at Twinwoods Adventure, you can experience the thrill of catching a wave whatever the conditions. A fantastic treat and it’s definitely a place that you should put on your list to visit this summer!

Kids World – Soft Play Centre

With a huge variety of different apparatus to choose from, Kids World can provide hours of entrainment for your kids without breaking the bank. Under 1’s go free, Under 4’s are £5 and the main area at peak times only cost £6.70! You also have the option to pay £30 for 3 months, £50 for 6 months or £90 for a year and this gives you unlimited access which can really help save money for more important events coming up like Christmas!

Oasis Beach Pool

Oasis has some truly fantastic facilities to choose from if you are looking for more of an active day out for the family. There is the main swimming pool, featuring the wave machine, 2 flume slides, water mushroom and bubble burst and a cafe where parents can sit and enjoy a nice coffee if they’d prefer not to swim! Juniors (3-17 years) go for £6.55 at peak times! Well worth a visit if you’re struggling for things to do on a weekend…
