My Name is Georgia Testa and I am the very proud founder of Studio 281.
Being in the fitness industry as a female has never been easy, believe it or not, it is still a very male-dominated industry and can be rather intimidating starting out.
I began my career leaving my dance days at university to teach middle-aged women, Aerobics, Kettlebells and Legs bums and tums. It was the opportunity for me to share my love of getting people moving and seeing them fall in love with the after affects of exercise.
The post workout glow my ladies left with was infectious and I knew i was hungry for more. Fast forward 5 years and I am now the proud founder of Studio 281, a boutique fitness studio in Kempston that is a one stop shop for all things health and well being.
From beauty therapy, yoga, physiotherapy, indoor cycling and Personal training. I now have a team of over 10 practitioners that all share a love for helping others and seeing them develop physically and mentally.
We have created a real community spirit where people join our “family” and love every element of the service we provide at 281. Health and fitness is at the heart of everything we do but i can assure you we have conquered the stigma attached to attending gyms and the male dominant era that was 5 years ago really intimidating.
I’m proud that Studio 281 has become a sanctuary for many people, for others the first location they have felt comfortable to exercise and maintain a love for what they do. We are in the current stages of developing our healthy prepared food service to be able to serve more people of our local community and are always looking for other instructors and PTs to join the welcoming team we have working with us currently.
Please feel free to get in touch with me personally if i can be of any help to you, or just follow us on social media to see what all the fuss is about!
