Having been so busy recently, it was only as I started writing this that I remembered that our second birthday had already passed (hip hip hooray – belated). A lot has happened since October 2016, when with excitement and a little trepidation, I started Artistry Property Agents. Having worked for an independent firm of estate agents for the previous 5 years I had become used to regular instructions (and pay slips), but I was also disillusioned by a constant focus on weekly figures, rather than Client experience. The staff were stressed out, but so were the Clients.
My aim in setting up my own Company was to approach the sale and rental of property differently. The Artistry approach is all about the best possible Client experience. A superb stress-free service. Whether we are selling or letting a property or, indeed, carrying out our home-finder service, we provide each Client with one person to see the whole process through to completion; that one experienced estate agent is fully aware of everything to do with the transaction, which ensures the smoothest possible process.
This Client centric approach has been fundamental to the growth of our business and we now handle the sale and rental of some of the nicest properties in the area – the area that I grew up in and really like. Bedford has a huge amount to offer, from its rich culture and amazing selection of schools, to its independent retailers and outstanding period and contemporary homes. Add to that the beautiful surrounding countryside and the lovely Great Ouse river, and it’s not difficult to see why the town was included in The Sunday Times guide, Best Places to Live 2018.
